1860's Corset

So this post is long overdue, as in a year and a half. But bear with me as I get my past projects up here.
My first corset was a dreadful disaster so then I took a class on how to make a corset and made a significantly better one, but as you can see it still had issues.



I somehow got two great sides of my corset done, unfortunately, they didn't match each other. Even seam allowance is crucial!! I suffered with this one for about a year until I had time and money to make a new one.

This ball gown is my first attempt, I had a very small budget and couldn't afford the real silk so this was the result.
